RCNO uses a community-centered approach engaging local residents and stakeholders in
community organizing and public policy formation.
We invite congregations, community-based
agencies, student interns and other community members to join us in our work.
Your participation is crucial to the success of our efforts. Organizers and other volunteers
are needed in the field and in our offices.
| The following are ways that you can help: |
- Serve on a task force or committee
- Participate in public actions
- Provide clerical and other administrative support for projects
- Provide writing and research for policy briefs, magazine articles, etc.
- Serve as a student intern in the areas of public policy or communications
- Attend a national training and build your skills as an organizer
- Involve your church or agency in our trainings and meetings
- Register to become an RCNO affiliate agency
